Black Vulture

I found these Black Vulctures in Extremadura, Spain. They were scruffy looking birds but provided quite a spectical nevertheless.

The picture with the large rock face was a bit of a fluke. If you look carefully you can see a Black Vulcture, at least 12 Griffon Vulctures, an Egyptian Vulcture and a Peregrine Falcon. That’s what you call a lucky shot.

Lower down on the rock face was a pair of nesting Black Storks and near where we were standing we found Rock Buntings and a Hawfinch.
